Pumpkin Chip 1-Minute Cake

It’s November, the season for pumpkin everything! This is an easy recipe to make with your little ones or if you’re in the mood for a little something sweet.

Pumpkin Chip 1-minute Cake

What you’ll need:

(makes one cake)

  • A microwaveable mug (we recommend GULP)
  • 2 tablespoons of all purpose flour
  • A pinch of baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree (we used canned)
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • ½ tablespoon vegetable oil
  • ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
  • Chocolate chips, as many or as little as you like!

Combine all ingredients in a microwave safe mug. Our GULP ceramic tumbler is great, as the wide base prevents it from tilting and the textured silicone sleeve is great for gripping — perfect for little chefs. (Note: it is not heat resistant so please use caution when heated)

Mix well until it’s smooth

Cook in the microwave for 1 minute. The top of the cake should be dry and chocolate chips melted; if not, microwave for a few seconds longer. Let the cake cool for a few minutes before eating.

Enjoy!
