We know this Easter will be one to remember purely because of its novelty. Having to stay at home... Eggs in short supply at many grocery stores... No block-wide Easter egg hunts... But rather than focusing on what we can't do, we are taking this as an opportunity to get creative with our celebrations! And that includes our festive crafts.
BUNNY THEMED CRAFTS:
It may not bnate possible to visit the Easter Bunny for photos this year, but that doesn't mean we can't have some bunny themed fun till next year! Here are a few of our favorite bunny crafts for the whole family:
1. Nature Bunny Printable Craft
This craft is a great way to get festive, AND get outside! Just print out your choice of bunny face from Mother Natured and make the rest out of plants you can find around the house! Hang your finished product in the window to show anyone walking by your Easter art.
2. DIY Bunny Ears
Not only are these ears ADORABLE and will bring smiles all day long... they are easy as pie! Just grab a headband, floral wire and tape, and gather some flowers to decorate! Have a photo shoot to remember the moment and enjoy some quality time crafting with family! Craft by Lavin Label
3. Bunny Cupcakes
This is another adorably delicious craft that can be prepped the night before! Just make your favorite flavor of cupcakes and enjoy decorating with the whole family! You can hold a decorating contest, or each learn how to make these cute and easy bunny cupcakes by Pillsbury using marshmallows and pink sugar!
EGG THEMED CRAFTS:
Like we mentioned before, getting your hands on eggs has been a tricky task lately... Which means that dying eggs may not be in the cards this year. But that doesn't mean you can't have some colorful egg-filled fun!
1. Rice Crispy Eggs:
This activity is fun AND delicious. And it only calls for 4 ingredients! (1 box of Rice Krispie cereal, 1 bag of mini marshmallows, butter, small candies, and some plastic eggs for shaping if you want to get fancy!) We love this recipe by It Happens in a Blink!
2. Salt Dough or Rock Decorated Eggs:
This craft can be any shape you'd like if you opt for salt dough, but there's something about painting egg shapes that gets us in the Easter spirit! Salt dough is as easy as 1, 2, 3... flour, salt, and water that is.

3. Shaving Cream Marbled Paper Eggs:
This ones for our followers who don't mind a little mess for a LOT of fun! Achieve a pretty marbled effect with Typically Simple's marbled egg craft using only shaving cream, paper, a little paint, and a few other items that you probably have around the house!
